OUR STORY

Working Towards a Better Understanding

We are in the middle of a labyrinth of wonderful but sometimes confusing goals, tools and applications... by a sea of conflicting principles and practices. Robots are now doing part of our job. So what do we really need to do as educators?

Dealing with the challenge of effectively teaching/learning a second or foreign language in a highly technological environment, in person or online, requires teachers, instructors, tutors, coaches, curriculum developers, and materials creators to exchange different perspectives.

REFLECTIONS ON SECOND LANGUAGE ACQUISITION (ROSLA) emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the growing global community of Second Language Acquisition stakeholders.

We could fairly say that we are a peer-review academic journal, but we prefer to see ourselves as a sort of tribe driven by the idea that improving our best practices needs to be a collective effort.

Contact us to get involved and publish your articles or comments. They can be highly technical based on facts and research, or just anecdotal based on personal experience. In any case, they better be inspirational.
